He successively served as the Deputy General Manager of China Non-metal Mining Industry (Group) Corporation, Deputy General Manager of China Material Industry Science and Technology Corporation, Executive Director and President of SINOMA Group Co., Ltd., Deputy General Manager of SINOMA Group Corporation, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Chairman of China Reform Holdings Corporation Ltd. and concurrently as director and General Manager of CNIC Corporation Limited. He is currently the Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of CNBM.

He has served as Secretary of the Board of Directors and Vice President of Beijing New Building Material Public Limited Company, Secretary of the Board of Directors, Vice President, Executive Director and Deputy Secretary of the Temporary Party Committee of China National Building Material Co., Ltd. (CNBM Ltd.) He is currently Party Committee Standing Member and Vice President of CNBM.

He successively served as a staff member and principal staff member of the Hydropower Division of the Planning Department of the Ministry of Water Resources and Electric Power, deputy director of the Planning Division and deputy director of the Hydropower Division of the Comprehensive Planning Department of the Ministry of Energy, director of the Hydropower Division of the Planning Department of the Ministry of Electric Power Industry, assistant to general manager and director of the Planning and Operation Department of State Grid Construction Co., Ltd., deputy director of the Planning Department of the Ministry of Electric Power Industry and deputy director of the Planning and Investment Department of State Power Corporation, deputy director of the Planning and Investment Department of State Power Corporation, president and deputy secretary of the Leading Party Group of China Renewable Energy Engineering Institute, director of the Comprehensive Planning, Investment and Financing Department of State Power Corporation, a member of the Preparatory Group of China Huadian Corporation Ltd., deputy general manager and a member of the Leading Party Group of China Huadian Corporation Ltd., a director, general manager and a member of the Leading Party Group of China Huadian Corporation Ltd., and a director, general manager and deputy secretary of the Leading Party Group of China Huadian Corporation Ltd. In January 2021, he was appointed by the State Council's SASAC as an external director of China National Building Materials Group Co., Ltd. 

He successively served as deputy director of the Price Division, deputy director of the Industrial Development Division, director of the Office, director of the General Division and deputy director of the Development Planning Department of the Ministry of Railways; deputy director of the Planning and Statistics Department of China Railway Corporation; secretary of the Party Committee of China Railway Construction Investment Corporation; director of the Material Management Department of China Railway Corporation; director of the Material Management Department of China State Railway Group Co., Ltd.; and an external director of China Railway Beijing Group Co., Ltd. In August 2023, he was appointed by the State Council's SASAC as an external director of China National Building Materials Group Co., Ltd. 

He successively served as: Full-time Supervisor at the Division-Chief Level, Deputy Bureau-Director Level, and Bureau-Director Level, State Council State-owned Key Large Enterprise Supervisory Board; Director, China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Co., Ltd.; Independent Director, China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN Power Co., Ltd.). Since December 2024, he has been appointed by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the State Council as an External Director of China National Building Material Group Co., Ltd.
